Great views. Interesting juxtaposition of healthy forest, new growth, & last year's burn. Some pretty gnarly climbs up washed-out trail and slippery areas. Don't go in a rainstorm!

At trailhead. Parts of the road were pretty washed out, so we parked and walked up to the trailhead.

High elevation hike - started at about 8300' and could feel the effects! Drink lots of water, & start slowly. But an awesome hike.
